The Center for Health Policy and Outcomes holds a number of core capabilities in the service of advancing research and understanding of health policy and its intersection with value and quality of healthcare. Particular areas of expertise include systematic review, observational data analysis, policy analysis, and economic analysis.

  • Policy-Relevant Systematic Review

    Members of the Center have experience conducting systematic reviews, particularly of policy-relevant non-clinical topics, with meta-analysis when appropriate.

  • Observational Data Analyses

    The Center has dedicated biostatisticians who focus on large observational data analyses using sophisticated inferential methods to develop and test hypotheses related to the quality of cancer care.

  • Policy & Economic Analysis

    Members conduct empiric economic analyses including evaluation and cost-effectiveness analyses of specific treatments and discrete choice experiments.
