My work is focused on identifying and utilizing major immunological signals that stimulate the immune system and prevent its inhibition and evasion by cancer cells. My projects are concentrated on developing immunotherapies that stimulate antigen-presenting-cells (APCs) and increase their tumor-infiltration and migration to the tumor draining lymph nodes, where they prime adaptive immunity. Such therapeutic approaches lead to eradication of tumors and formation of immunological memory that prevent tumors from relapsing.
