I am part of the immunology program at Weill Cornell Graduate School. My project focuses on the role of co-stimulatory molecules of the TNFR family in anaphylaxis. My main interest is in determining the mechanisms underlying GITR ligation in inducing anaphylaxis. In addition, I am developing means to prevent anaphylaxis based on the mechanistic studies. The results of this project are instrumental in designing future clinical trials targeting co-stimulatory molecules such as GITR agonist antibodies.
