Members of the Center have experience conducting systematic reviews, particularly of policy-relevant non-clinical topics, with meta-analysis when appropriate. Example topics include overuse of health services in oncology and the scope and impact of value-based interventions in oncology.

The systematic reviews published by members of the Center have significantly impacted the healthcare field. The findings from Dr. Peter Bach’s “Benefits and Harms of CT Screening for Lung Cancer: A Systematic Review” were the foundation of the clinical practice guideline of the American College of Chest Physicians and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
